Free Pattern: Little Knitted Sandwich

Here is a little pattern I made up to provide some tasty lunch for my toddler’s miniland dolls.

The sizing would work with most dolls or teddy bears between 15-45cm though. And look, it’s all up to you and how much you care about realistic scale.

✂️ Materials: ✂️
📍2mm needles
🧶 Thin cotton yarn that I got free with a cactus amigurumi set I never made.

🍞 Bread 🍞
Cast on 10
Starting with a knit row, stocking stitch 12 rows
Cast off.

Leave your self about 10cm of a tail to sew up the sandwich later.

🥬 Filling 🥬

Cast on 10
Knit
p2tog, purl across (9)
Knit 7, k2tog (8)
P2tog, purl across (7)
Knit 5, k2tog (6)
P2tog, purl across (5)
Knit (5)
P2tog, purl across (4)
Knit 2, k2tog (3)
P2tog, purl (2)
K2tog (1)

Pull yarn through loop to tie off.

🥪 Assemble 🥪

Put the filling in and fold over.

Using the tails of the bread sew loosely around the edges to create some structural integrity and stop the sandwich from coming open. But don’t pull the thread too tight or it will pucker.
